Sidepanels add strong aesthetic to stock trailers

Northern Ireland firm Nugent Engineering has updated its livestock trailers by fitting 3mm aluminium side panels with a corrugated structure that is said to give optimum strength and aesthetic appeal.
Instead of the previous standard tail lights, there are now more durable lorry-type lights and an extra aluminium strip on the loading gates encourages easy loading of animals.
The steel fabricated dividing gate gives extra strength, says the company, and receiver brackets have also been positioned for dividing gates on every arch, providing seven position points for optional cross divisions.
Triple fold-down panels on the front of the trailer are an option and allow the farmer to use them in a range of combinations – central panel down, outer panels down or all panels down.
The range goes from an 8x5ft model to 16x6ft and costs go from ÂŁ2,500 to ÂŁ6,000.
