Spaldings has added the Avery Weigh-Tronix Livestock universal weighing system to its range.

This heavy-duty unit can be mounted on any manual or hydraulic cattle crush, turning it into a working livestock scale. It can also be used for weighing pallets, boxes and bulk bags.

The Weigh Beam system is said to be easy to install, with the option of leaving it portable or fitting it in one place permanently. The low profile beams stand less than 75mm high and it’s fully weatherproof.

It can weigh items up to 2.2t and tough polyurethane weigh bar cables are fitted, says the company.

The weight indicator is compatible with a number of herd management EID software packages on the market. It is powered by a 240v adaptor or via an optional 12v DC supply.
