Irish manufacturer Agrispread has revealed a new range of rear-discharge muckspreaders that will be sold in the UK by Oxfordshire-based PK sales.

The new VB Pro single-axle spreaders run from 6t to 12t and all feature vertical beaters suitable for spreading manures, biosolids and compost.

Like the firm’s previous models, the design is based on a monocoque body to help material flow evenly to the beaters for a more uniform spread pattern.

The beaters have 15mm reversible boron tips, and boron has also been added to the stepped beater pattern around a heavy-duty rotor tube to lengthen lifespan.

The hydraulic floor has a two-way relief valve to reduce damage, should foreign objects work their way into the spreader.

A fixed drawbar with swivel hitch and shear-bolt protection is standard, while optional extras include a sprung drawbar, weigh cells and an Isobus-compatible rate controller.

The range starts with the VB Pro 6000, which can hold 9.9cu m, while the biggest is the VB Pro 12000 with a 19.5cu m capacity.
