Sumo LDS subsoiler perks up compacted soil

Sumo’s new LDS subsoiler aims to minimise soil heave but can give different levels of surface soil disturbance according to the leg type specified.

It’s a 4m mounted machine with eight legs at 500mm spacing and will work from 100mm to 400mm depth. A 6m version is also in the pipeline. The idea is to perk up soil that has become compacted and it needs a tractor with at least 250hp under the bonnet.
