Ten new McCormick tractor dealers from Oxfordshire to Perthshire

McCormick has appointed ten new dealers to cover England and Scotland.
According to the company, the aim to the recruitment campaign has been to improve market coverage by filling vacant territories and replacing dealers lacking commitment to the McCormick product range. More signings are expected over the coming months.
Based at Lower Boddington between Banbury in Oxfordshire and Daventry, Northants, Des Wootton is a former Case IH dealer who, in recent years, has specialised in providing parts and service for the extensive local population of Case tractors in addition to creating a classic tractors sales and parts business. He returns to the new tractor market with McCormick while continuing these activities.
Marc Shepherd is a former Renault dealer whose franchise was transferred to the Claas dealer in his area after the German company’s take-over of Renault Agriculture. He currently handles Zetor and will add McCormick to cover an area in north-east Lincolnshire from his base at Legbourne, near Louth.
Looking forward to expanding the business – Rob Stevenson of Agriplus (left), with technician Simon Muir, is one of ten new dealers appointed to the McCormick network. He has already supplied five McCormick CX105 tractors – plus one of the firm’s new CT compacts – to a local plant hire firm, with another six on order for delivery this spring.
Running out of Dunsdale near Guisborough, North Yorkshire, Rob Stevenson’s Agriplus operation is a young dealership taking on its first new tractor franchise having previously specialised in equipment repairs, servicing and new implement sales.
P & SM Johnson, run by Paul and Stuart Johnson, near Holbeach, Lincs cuurently handles Zetor and will continue to do so alongside the McComick product range.
New McCormick dealers
Further north, there are new McCormick dealers in Cumbria and Northumberland:
Relph Machinery has previously concentrated on implement sales and service at Great Broughton near Cockermouth.
H Pigney & Son is a former Same Deutz-Fahr dealership based at Appleby, Cumbria.
Working from its base at Rothbury near Morpeth, Newtown Engineering is a former Renault dealer whose franchise was transferred to the local Claas dealer it currently handles Zetor.
Across the border into Scotland, Clive Montgomery of CAM Engineering, Castle Douglas becomes the new dealer for McCormick’s central Dumfries & Galloway area.
John Drysdale Agricultural Engineers at Kinneswood is appointed in Fife. He also holds a Same franchise.
Fraser C Robb at Drymen in Stirling previously handled Same.
