Tillage Event 2010: Bristow shows its teeth

Sleaford firm PA Bristow has spent 12 years developing its novel multi-tooth tiller roll, much of it on its own heavy-land farm.

The teeth are 115mm long with a 52mm gap between them which could potentially block up with soil.

But the new scraper system, which apparently took three years to perfect, was doing a very good job on the sticky soils at the event.

At the front are a series of subsoiler tines.

A 3m version with five legs costs ÂŁ14,000
