John Dale was showing off the clever parallel linkage system on its 6m Eco Drill.

This ensures the tines and press wheels always stay parallel with the ground, even on undulating ground.

The drills went on sale this Spring in 4m to 12m versions and with seed hoppers that range in capacity from 2.3t to 5t.

There’s also a useful-looking system for changing the row spacing by undoing a couple of bolts.

This 6m version costs £54,000.
