Case IH Luxxum gets more powerful hydraulics and joystick control

The Case IH Luxxum and latest Maxxum tractors will feature on the Case IH stand at Lamma for the first time, highlighting improvements and upgrades aimed at lifting performance and the operator experience.

The three-model 99-117hp Luxxum line-up has replaced the Farmall U Pro on which it based, with higher capacity gear pump hydraulics on base versions and availability of the Multicontroller  armrest and joystick for the first time.

Apart from bringing gear selection, shuttle operation, linkage up/down and electric spool valve control into one place, the Multicontroller spec also provides a split throttle control for maximum and minimum speed settings and an AFS Pro touch-screen isobus terminal option.

The sole transmission is a 32×32 unit with power shuttle, four powershift steps in eight ranges and auto shifting through 16 speeds each for field operations and road travel up to 40kph.

Front axle suspension is available to complement the cab suspension, and the cab itself is a four-post design with slim header rail for improved upwards visibility when operating a loader.
