Zetor unveils new-look Proxima tractor line

A new-look version of the Proxima tractor with some spec upgrades will feature on Zetor’s Lamma stand.

The Proxima is the Czech manufacturer’s mid-range model with power outputs from 76hp to 117hp and three levels of equipment, mainly relating to the drivetrain.

A synchro shuttle 12×12 gearbox is standard on the Proxima CL with a 20×4 creep option available, while the GP model with heavier duty axles has a gearbox 16×16 configuration with two-speed powershift.

Both versions peak at 109hp but the HS version has a fourth model at 117hp and is equipped with a power shuttle for the 24×24 transmission with three-speed powershift.

New bodywork styling that matches the smaller Major models includes a more steeply sloping nose said to improve forwards visibility, and a cab roof with a cut-away in the leading edge adjacent to the window designed to create a better view to a raised loader.

Other updates include improved heating and air conditioning for the cab.
