Machinery manufacturer John Deere has released a video of its vision for farm technology in the not-too distant future.

The video avoids the usual space age interpretation of future life – there are no hover cars or servant robots. Instead it focuses on a much more believable scenario where a farm manager and tractor driver employ technology-enhanced communication and management systems in their working day.
