Its double-disc system guides seed into a small slit, which the company says guarantees a quick germination and deep rooting. The pairs of discs are spaced 7.5cm apart which is said to give a close and healthy sward.
The overseeder has two 2.9m sections giving an overall working width of 5.8m. The sections fold hydraulically to give a 3m width for transport and lock automatically. A 4.4m wide model, also with 7.5cm row spacings, comes with a smooth roller and weighs about 2,000kg.
The two sections pivot to allow the machine to follow undulations and each pair of discs is spring loaded. The 200kg seed hopper can be filled safely from a standing platform and the pneumatic/mechanical seed distribution is adjustable from 3kg-210kg/ha. An optional digital hectare counter and ring roller are available.
