1000-litre front tank lifts JD spray capacity
SPRAYING capacity for John Deeres 400 and 500 series mounted sprayers can now be increased by adding a new 1000-litre front tank.
Designed to fit all tractors in the 6000, 6010, 6020, 7000 and 7010 ranges, the tank uses a special bracket made by Laforge to ease the task of mounting and removal. The tank can also be specified with a universal bracket kit for mounting on other makes of tractor.
John Deere says the mounting position does not reduce the tractors maximum steering angle and ensures its front axle load limit is not exceeded.
Specification includes a stainless steel induction hopper operated by a 360 litre/min centrifugal pump which also agitates the tank contents before they are transferred.
An in-cab transfer control system is also included, plus hoses and a set of demount legs for storage. Price of the 1000 litre tank is £4670, plus the mounting kit which can be supplied from £310 to £395. *
