Eradicating scrapie? These pedigree yearling ewes from the Shrops-based Broncroft and Clun Texel flocks are in-lamb to rams with Class 1 or 2 scrapie resistance and will be coming under the hammer at Ludlow on Dec 4. Said to be the first joint sale where females are bred to such rams, 60 yearlings will be offered (McCartneys).
