Queens Award for grit and courage

Winning an award is always good news. When its a prestigious Queens Award for innovation, theres real cause for celebration.

So congratulations to Garnett Farms Engineering which recently collected the accolade for a home-designed bedding dispenser. When banks and established machinery companies failed to back the machine, which lays straw and sawdust for stock bedding, the farming family from Knutsford, Cheshire developed it themselves.

The Queens Award is a tribute to their inititive, determination and commercial acumen.
