Free to range…but on a wet windy day it can be nicer to stay inside their cosy naturally ventilated mobile hen house, designed by Devon-based company Freedom Farm Mobiles. The 3000 layer hens are stocked at nine/sq m to meet new building requirements and there is no manual egg collecting or mucking out to worry about.
