Aussie wool price on a high
AUSTRALIAN wool values have now reached their highest levels in two following sharp rises in the past week.
The Eastern Market Indicator price rose 31 Australian cents to A$7.13/kg (2.69/kg).
The Australian Wool exchange 19-micron southern indicator, which represents finer wool, climbed 25A¢ to A$12.44/kg (4.69/kg).
According to the FT, the higher prices are now bringing more stocks out of storage and on to the market.
