Badgerface web-site keeps in touch

THE Badgerface Welsh Mountain sheep society has moved into the computer age with the launch of a web-site designed to give potential buyers access to stock for sale.

Due to showing restrictions, www.ewe2u.co.uk is said to allow interested producers to keep in touch with the ancient breed.

"We have maintained a register of buyers and sellers for the last four years, but hope now to expand this thanks to the new site," says a society spokesperson.

The Badgerface can be traced back to the 7th century and there are about 200 flocks in Britain. Enthusiasts say the breed is an ideal crossing breed and performs well in all conditions (01743-718525, fax 01743-718980).
