Bees fed honey destined for shops

Miserable summer weather has forced beekeepers to feed supplies of honey
destined for the shops to their hungry bees instead. The weather has reduced the
amount of nectar produced and confined many bees to their hives.

Exeter Bee Supplies, in Okehampton, Devon, said conditions were the worst in
17 years.
