Belgium to destroy pork products
BELGIUM is to recall and destroy all its pork products in both the domestic and overseas markets in an effort to contain the outbreak of dioxin contamination.
The buy-back operation will involve fresh and frozen meat and all derivatives.
It became clear that tracking down the pork from a total of 803 farms shut down by the government would be virtually impossible.
