DOMESTIC burglar alarms are not loud enough to scare off intruders and burglars from farm buildings located in rural areas, insists Middlesex-based Klaxon Signals.

The company has introduced its Master Blaster burglar alarm which is loud enough to be heard over a 2km radius. Rated at 127dB, the Master Blaster is claimed to have the combined power output of 64 domestic burglar alarms.

Master Blaster is weatherproof to IP65 standards and is supplied fully assembled and ready for installation on any flat surface. Power is sourced from a 240v mains supply. The unit is priced at £86. (01706-343343).
