Blocks to balance high grass diets

HELP prevent lameness in sheep and maintain growth and fertility in cattle with two new feed mineral blocks developed to balance high grass diets, says animal feed supplement specialist Dallas Keith.

Zinco for sheep contains a high level of protected zinc for sheep grazing wet, high nitrogen grass late in the season, when foot difficulties can occur, says Dallas Keith.

For cattle, the Copper-Rich block is designed to protect growth and fertility while stock make use of cheap forage by grazing throughout the winter.

The blocks are supplied in 20kg buckets for free-access feeding and cost about £13 a block, when delivered in 1t loads (01993-773061, fax 01993-771338).
