Britain doesn’t eat up its greens
By FWi staff
ALMOST seven in 10 British adults are not eating enough fruit and vegetables, according to a new survey.
Most mistakenly believe they are eating the recommended five portions a day, reveals the Gallup poll carried out for the British Dietetic Association.
Other reasons given for not eating enough fruit and veg include expense, time-consuming preparation and unpleasant taste, reports The Daily Telegraph.
