TOP price at the dispersal of the Cam Holstein Friesian herd was 1900gns, on a day when there were 23 females at 1000gns and over.

Top bid came from J Furze, Holsworthy, for an Omar daughter that had given 7400kg after 246 days and was still giving 26kg.

And in-calf heifers from this herd of Mr and Mrs C C Vanstone at Winkleigh, Devon, twice reached 1000gns.

AVERAGES: 94 cows £870; 43 in-calf heifers £740; 27 bulling heifers £435 and 39 heifer calves £339. (Stags)
