Car thief kills poultry worker

A POULTRY worker was crushed to death after trying to confront a gang of youths who had been seen with his bosss stolen car.

Michael Williamson, 36, who worked at Ivan Houseley Poultry Wholesalers, challenged the suspects in the Somerfields store at Selston, Nottinghamshire.

The driver of the stolen vehicle reversed the car into Mr Williamson who was trapped as the youths tried to escape.

A man is being questioned by police about the incident.
