Check-weigher can give spot-on spuds

THOSE bagging up potatoes, for example, can carry out an automated weigh-check before distributing produce using Lockwood Graders 200-P and 200-S check-weighers.

Of stainless steel construction, the 200-P offers throughputs of up to 42 packs/min for those up to 10kg in weight, with the larger 200-S capable of the same throughput, but with packs up to 60kg in weight.

Developed to eliminate underweight packages and minimising give-away, both check-weighers offer automated rejection where minimum and maximum target weights are not met. Data for 300 separate products can be stored in the controller, which also offers counting, totalising and output functions for data collation.

£7290 buys the 200-P, while £7990 secures the larger 200-S. (01206-337430).
