  • Weaker sterling and frustrated buyers pushed the old crop market

    slightly higher yesterday. A snap tender by Algeria to purchase 200,000

    tonnes wheat for July-Aug shipment kept French prices steady, although the

    wheat may originate from Intervention stocks.
