Colour codes on flexible respirator

A RESPIRATOR that is claimed to give protection against a wide range of substances found on the farm is now available from Spaldings.

The unit is fitted with colour-coded filters that indicate the type of substance for which protection is being given.

For example, brown is for organic gases and vapours, grey is for inorganic gases such as chlorine or hydrogen sulphide, yellow for acid gases and sulphur dioxide, green for ammonia, and white for toxic dusts.

Manufactured from lightweight materials, price is £15.99 for the respirator, and a pack of four filters costs £26.98. (01522-500600)
