Comeback for Mengele forage harvesters

FOLLOWING the failure of the Bidell group last month, importer Reco has confirmed that the production of Mengele trailed forage harvesters will resume in the next few weeks.

The new company due to start production is Mengele Eberhardt Production GmbH, which will lead to full availability of the Mengele SH40 trailed machine for next season.

Last year, about one in three precision-chop forage harvesters sold in the UK was a Reco Mengele machine.

Reco stresses that a full range of spare parts is available for SH40 and SH25 forage harvesters from the Huntingdon factory.
