Comfy gloves for the allergy-prone

SOME 20% of wearers of gloves made from natural rubber suffer from skin irritations caused by the proteins found in Latex, maintains Semperit.

To give allergy-prone users a means of protection, the company has introduced its Semperstar anti-allergic general purpose disposable gloves, which, it says, can be worn by those whose hands are prone to skin conditions such as eczema.

This comes from the manufacturing process, combined with the use of a cotton/velour lining which both provides comfort and absorbs perspiration.

Recommended for light cleaning duties the gloves are stated to have mechanical, chemical and abrasion resistance and can be washed and reused a number of times before discarding.

Supplied in small, medium, large and extra large, the gloves are priced at £96.48/case of 144 (01189-868944).
