Couple told to restore garden to farmland


WYCHAVON district council has ordered Elaine and Trevor Pearce, of Norton, near Worcester, to turn their £10,000 garden back into farmland. The couple planted 53 trees and 100 shrubs worth £2000 on the 0.4ha (1 acre) field without planning consent.
