A UFO expert has become the first person to be fined for making a crop circle, reports The Times.
Matthew Williams, editor of Truthseekers magazine, created a seven-point star in a cornfield at West Overton, Wiltshire, after experts said it could not be done.
Williams, 29, from Bishops Cannings, was fined 100 and ordered to pay 40 costs by Devizes magistrates after pleading guilty to causing criminal damage.
