Curry house fears over missing goats

A FAMOUS herd of mountain goats is vanishing, with fears growing that they have ended up in baltis and bhunas in Midlands curry houses.

The once 108-strong herd which lives in North Devons Valley of the Rocks, near Lynton, is now down to only about 40 head.

With Midlands Muslim halal butchers offering up to £100 for a fresh goat carcass, and Birmingham curry houses advertising special deals on goat dishes, the recently formed Friends of Lynton Goat Society now fear the lost animals have ended up in exotic dishes. &#42
