Dairy Crest’s £33m for cheese store

DAIRY Crest is investing £33 million in a new national cheese maturation and distribution centre at Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

The centre, which will handle 50 million cases of dairy products annually, is due to open by April 2000.

The centre will control 35,000 pallets of maturing cheese and hold 12,500 pallets of finished products.
