Danish group extends range

DANISH machinery manufacturer Kongskilde has acquired the businesses of Karl Becker in Germany, Juko of Finland and Danagri-Pol in Poland.

The move will extend the Danish Groups product range, with access to precision drills, combination drills, power harrows and heavy-duty cultivators.

But for the UK market Kongskilde says the existing marketing and distribution agreements look set to remain for the time being.

"The acquisitions should help to improve our market coverage in areas where we are weak," explains Charles Moulton, managing director of Kongskilde UK.

"Up to now, we have had little to offer the heavy land farmer for primary cultivations."
