MILK producers planning to submit claims for temporary reallocation of milk quota should do so by Apr 30, warns the Rural Payments Agency.
Eligible farmers include those affected by herd movement restrictions imposed due to TB or foot-and-mouth. Extra quota may be needed in such circumstances if newly calved heifers cannot leave the farm and have to be added to the dairy herd. *
