Dollys wool to be a jumper…

THE fleece from Dolly, the worlds first cloned sheep, will be woven into a unique jumper which will be presented to the Science Museum early next year.

Donation

Scientists at Edinburghs Roslin Institute, where Dolly was created, have donated the fleece to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which, in conjunction with the Portman Building Society, has launched a competition to find a design for the jumper.

It must incorporate the theme of Dolly and the logo of the CFT. The finished garment will then be handed to the Science Museum in London for display.
