Express Dairies takes 51% of Claymore
EXPRESS Dairies has taken a 51% stake in the liquid milk business of Claymore Dairies for £2.2 million.
The Nairn-based facility near Inverness is a farmer-owned co-operative producing both liquid milk and cheese.
Existing farmer shareholders will retain 100% of the cheese business and 49% of the liquid milk side following the deal.
