Farewell on Trent

WHEN Nottinghamshire FWC met at Ferry Farm Country Park on the banks of the River Trent, retiring contact leader Gladys Burton (above) was almost at a loss for words. She was presented with a gift voucher from grateful members in recognition of 15 years service.

It was the clubs agm and an interesting programme was drawn up for next year before the members enjoyed lunch in the converted barn at this enterprising paradise for children of all ages.
