Farmer goes home after 5000 years
A SCOTTISH farmer is finally returning home after 5000 years away – although his head is staying in Glasgow.
The skull of the Neolithic farmer was kept at Glasgow Universitys Hunterian Museum after being found in a cairn on the Isle of Arran in 1900.
A model of the farmer will going on display at the Isle of Arran Heritage Museum while the original stays at the Hunterian.
