Farmers to quiz Cunningham on TV

UP to 100 irate farmers are expected to give farm minister Jack Cunningham a tough time when he appears on live television this weekend.

The farmers will question Dr Cunningham during his appearance on ITVs Jonathan Dimbleby Programme this Sunday at 12:30pm.

Earlier this month, the programmes makers specifically appealed for members of the farming community to appear on the show. And they were inundated with replies.

“We had an overwhelming response,” said programme researcher Dominic Gallagher. “The audience has completely filled up and weve had to turn some people away.”
