Feeding pregnant ewes
SHEEP producers can find out more about feeding pregnant ewes at a series of free meetings organised by ADAS and funded by MAFF.
Aimed at improving ewe welfare and nutrition, the meetings will cover condition scoring, forage quality, selecting concentrates, feeding rates, mineral and trace element nutrition and feeding systems.
Meetings are Nov 30 Kendal; Dec 1 Penrith and Wasdale; Dec 2 Skipton and Bridgewater; Dec 3 Newton Abbot; Dec 6 North Wyke; Dec 8 Herefordshire; Dec 9 Shropshire; Dec 15 Otterburn, Wooler and East Sussex; Dec 16 Durham and Kent; Dec 17 Northallerton.
