Flexi-silo goes up fast
A GRAIN silo which can be erected inside a building without the need for additional foundations or special planning permission is now available from Bristol-based Braby UK.
The Flexible Silo is constructed from a flexible polypropylene bag liner held inside a lightweight steel frame. Braby says the unit is quick to assemble using just a spanner and a hammer and, when completed, is capable of holding up to 60t of grain. When not in use the unit can be packed away.
Features include a clear plastic strip down the side of the silo so that levels can be monitored. Price of an 85cu m version is £6700. A range of smaller models down to 11cu m are available. *
A spanner and a hammer are all that is required to erect the Braby Flexible Silo. No extra foundations or planning permission are required.
