Most of the 234 acres near Silverton, Exeter, are being valued at £2200-2500/acre by the firms Alex Rew. "There is not a lot of such high-quality land in the county and it rarely comes on the market," says the agent, who thinks the soil could interest somebody wanting to grow vegetables. *
