Greek farmers in street protest

GREEK farmers are pictured in The Times dumping fruit in the streets in a protest over the European Unions agricultural policy.

The failure to radically reform the Common Agricultural Policy earlier this year means further reform will be needed soon, says the paper.

This will intensify the anger of European farmers who continue to demonstrate over subsidy cuts, it reports.
