Hackwood is sold at last

THE Hackwood Park Estate has been sold following a lengthy marketing campaign.

The 2437-acre estate near Basingstoke, Hants, was for sale on behalf of the executors of Lord Camrose and is thought to have changed hands for around the £10m mark although agents were unable to comment. Knight Frank and Simmons & Sons were asking between £15m-20m for the whole.

Believed to have sold to a private individual acted for by Pilgrim Bond the estate includes a Grade II mansion house.
