HF second calver goes for 4200gns

A REDUCTION from Edward Morgans Erie herd of Holstein Friesians in south Wales saw bidding rise to 4200gns.

The Wilcove herd of Antony Pedigree Farms, Torpoint, Cornwall claimed the top-priced lot in Erie Lindy Ruby VG-89, a second calver and show winner.

AVERAGES: 20 cows and calved heifers £2068; eight served heifers £1241; 11 maiden heifers £1443 and three bulls £917. (Norton and Brooksbank with Bob Jones-Prytherch and Co)
