Hilton Food in Dutch buy
HILTON Food, a joint venture between Northern Irelands Foyle Food and RWM Food, has bought the processing and packaging division of Dutch retailer Albert Heijn.
The move is expected to boost Ulster beef exports following the lifting of the European Union ban on British beef.
Hilton is a supplier to Tesco, Safeway and McDonalds but Heijn was the leading buyer of Ulster beef before the ban.
Hilton is to invest £7m in the Amsterdam butchery facility over the next year.
