How to keep those pens squeaky clean

CREATE more hygienic conditions in lambing pens with the powerful contact disinfectant Stalosan-F, now recommended for sheep housing, says Fishers Feeds.

The product is effective against disease organisms that cause coccidiosis, watery mouth and joint-ill and is safe to use on bedding while ewes and lambs are still in the pen, says the company.

It is also said to absorb moisture from the environment, helping to reduce foot problems and navel infections.

Stalosan-F can be sprinkled over the bedding by hand and the recommended rate of application is 100g/m sq (84/yd sq).
