Howlers to make you howl with mirth

They are enough to make teachers and lecturers cry but

we hope these student howlers will make readers chuckle

"A teaser is a ram which is put in with the ewes at the beginning of the tupping period. He behaves exactly the same as a normal ram, but little does he know he is wasting his time."

"Food miles is the distance that the food travels between production and consumption. It varies depending on where you live."

"The Corncrake is now a very rare bird and my grandmother

says that she used to eat them when she was a girl."

"The contractor charged £5 per bale. This included mowing,

rowing up and raping them."

"Young people are the lifeblood of the countryside. They

are the future, the future blood and, as with veins, the

blood that keeps the future going."

&#8226 Are you a teacher or lecturer who has been left perplexed or

amused by a sentiment such as these? If so, wed love to hear about it. Dont worry,

you can remain anonymous – all we want are the words of wisdom. £10 awaits.
