Hydraulic rams tailor trailers to grass work
Hydraulic rams tailor trailers to grass work

A TRAILER range which offers gross weights from 11t to 40t and push-off emptying, is now available Reed (UK) of Melksham, Wilts.
Built in Bavaria, the Fliegl trailers employ hydraulic rams to push the contents out the back so they are discharged within one minute, claims the company.
Considered to be particularly useful for chopped grass transport, the grass can be squeezed up during loading to increase load capacity significantly.
Other advantages of the system are said to be safer unloading due to the fact that there is no tipping body. The ability to unload in buildings with low roof heights could also be a consideration.
Standard specification includes galvanised finish, sprung drawbar, tandem axles, hydraulic tailgate, hydraulic brakes and road lights.
With options for air brakes and air suspension, the trailers cost from £6100. *
